The Pagoda is made from Curly
Maple. The lid is Cherry with a
Cocobolo handle. The box
measures 11" x 5" and top is 14" x
7". The box stands about 7" high.

The PAGODA
The SUMO
The Sumo is made from Quarter-Sawn
Sycamore and Walnut. Quarter sawing is a
method of cutting the log that gives this
sycamore its distinctive appearance. The box
measures about 10" square and stands about
8" tall.

The Shinto is made from Curly Maple.
The lid is Mahogany
or Walnut with
Padauk handle and legs. The box
measures 11" x 5" and top is 13" x 7."
The box stands about 7" high.

The ZEN
The SHINTO
The Zen in the photo on the left is made from
Curly Maple. The lid is Cherry with a
decorative stone handle. The Zen in the
photo
on the right is Spalted Maple with a
Black Walnut lid. The boxes measure 4" or 5"
square and 5" or 6" tall. The stone handles
vary with what is on hand. The woods can
vary also, but I generally use a figured wood
for the box.
